The Midas 50U tank is the new 42U rack! The building block for small and large installations alike.
Higher Densities with Power Efficiency
Designed to handle the high heat loads generated by today’s data center hardware. Each tank can dissipate up to 150 kW (cooling loop dependent) of heat to protect and extend the lifetime of your investment.
-
50U per tank and up to 150 kW with N, N+1, 2N, and 2N+1 configurations
-
Flexibility to install one at a time or in large blocks
-
Perfect for large Enterprise and Telecom installations
-
Full fault tolerance, concurrent maintainability, and monitoring functionality
-
A standard installation enables each tank to handle up to 150 kW of heat dissipation.
-
Tanks run independently of each other and can be individually managed and configured
Hardware is kept cool with circulating dielectric fluid. Formulated to enhance materials compatibility and cooling performance, Midas approved dielectric fluids are over 1.200 times more efficient at removing heat when compared to air. With the cooling efficiencies, MIDAS XCI™ will allow you to utilize 100% of available server space. Each tank has the ability to support up to 150 kW.
MIDAS XCI™ is engineered to integrate with most DCIM software for data center operations.
Cooling modules can be replaced in less than 10 minutes without tools to maintain redundancy, even during unscheduled maintenance.
Tanks run independently of each other and can be individually managed and configured.
Standard configurations support 19-inch rack-mountable servers in 50U. For wider server configurations, see our Open Compute configuration.
50U+ 3 1U of submerged space per tank plus 20U of additional unsubmerged support space for Network and power distribution.
Fully redundant, hot-swappable cooling modules provide the security needed for the most mission-critical environments. MIDAS XCI 50U systems are available in N, N+1, 2N, and 2N+1 configurations.
Designed to maximize server density and power efficiency with a minimal physical footprint, the MIDAS XCI System is over 1,200 times more efficient at dissipating heat than traditional air cooling methods. Each XCI immersion tank can be configured to cool up to 150 kW of compute power and can be located almost anywhere.
A cooling module replaces the traditional cooling infrastructure. Hot-swappable modules can be rolled off for maintenance while a spare takes its place to maintain redundancy. This system provides
active redundancy and allows for concurrent maintainability. Additionally, dry disconnects enable clean and rapid module replacement.
With the elimination of most of the electrical infrastructure and the reduction in the size of the power infrastructure, CAPEX costs of an immersion cooling data center are usually lower than their air-cooled counterparts.
Midas’ high efficiency allows MIDAS XCI™ to lower operating expenditures by up to 42% and drastically boost the bottom line.
Cooling systems can represent more than half of a typical data center’s total energy consumption and consequently represents a significant percentage of its operating costs. MIDAS XCI™ can cut your power costs by more than 40%.
MIDAS XCI™ can cut your cooling power consumption by over 90%.
Due to the high capacities of the MIDAS XCI™ systems, it is possible to deploy immersion data centers in a fraction of the space required for an air data center.
Major OEM vendors like Dell, Lenovo, Super Micro, and others offer support for immersion cooling.
